Former Division I Assistant Coach & Division II National Champion

Alyx grew up in Canyon, TX where her love for softball started. She grew up playing fast-pitch softball all through her childhood. She is a dedicated and accomplished softball professional with a strong background as both a collegiate coach and player. After a highly decorated high school career, she went on to be a five-year starter at shortstop for the Division II powerhouse, West Texas A&M University. While there, she led her team to the Division II National Championship in 2021. She finished her college career with a .341 batting average and a .479 on-base percentage while earning All-Conference honors each year along with being named as a National Strength and Conditioning All-American in 2021. Upon graduating, she went on to coach Division I softball at Tarleton State University from 2022 - 2025 where she served as the hitting coach and worked primarily with the infield.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 2019 and magna cum laude with a master’s degree in sports and exercise studies from West Texas A&M in 2021.

Alyx is happy to be back in OKC near family and having the opportunity to pour into kids in the area. With a passion for mentorship, player development, and championship-level standards, she continues to bring the same energy, competitiveness, and integrity to every team and role she steps into.
